I'm just getting into dye sub work and I'm using some drop shadows on text to give them a little depth, using Illustrator for everything.
However, if I make the drop shadow go down and to the right, if I mirror the graphic to print (needs to be pressed to show it the right way), then the raster effect (drop shadow) doesn't mirror direction. So the text mirrors, but the shadow stays on the bottom right, which means once it's pressed, the shadow is not on the bottom left.
If I rotate the item 90 degrees to fit better on the paper, the effect doesn't move either. So in this case, the shadow would be to the top right of something rotated 90 degrees clockwise.
How do you make the raster effects go with the mirror or rotate?
