drumhead

So the drummer for my band sends me an email pic of the "art" he just put on his drum head. I won't post it, it will burn a hole in your soul. Suffice to say he took some Home Depot mailbox letters and put the name of the band on it. I made him bring it in before the gig this weekend and did it over. Circuit board background was his idea. Drumset is all matching the kick as far as color scheme so it should look pretty good. I used oracal 3640 no lam, no tape, just drowned it and slammed it. I'll see if I can get a pic or two this weekend art the bar to show the entire kit.

Nice, I just did my entire kit a couple months ago with all heads in chrome diamond plate. What a bitch!!! You need to go ahead and do all the bottoms of the upper toms to match... Would look sweet...

Great idea! I turned one of our old drummers kits into a waving flag, that was a pain. We took everything apart, wrapped the drums then put them back together. Picks blurry but you get the idea.

Ohhh, I'm thinking glow in the dark vinyl ran through the printer for the circuit board, and reflective for the name.

Cool for when the strobe lights hit it, and cool for when the band takes a break and the stage goes dark.

I do alot of custom drum heads, no need for crazy vinyl. I just use 3651 and they turn out great. Lam helps application on the heads since alot of my drum heads are shipped to the customer.

Looks good!
