What material/process would you recommend for an outdoor exhibit, short of using interpretive sign systems?
We've had limited success with laminated solvent prints on either MDO or DiBond and even less with direct UV prints. The solvent prints have either lifted enough at the edges to cause a problem over time or vandals have gouged the laminate (once even using what appears to be knives). Direct prints on diBond have scratched too easily.
We've used Fossil or iZone prints for permanent interpretive displays but the price point is too high for this temporary exhibit, even though it will be up for six years.
Anything in between you'd recommend?
