I have a Roland ecosolvent 2 print and cut.
Recently I did a small lightbox sign on opal acrylic. It was a multicolor logo, and I printed on clear self-adhesive, then profile cut the logo, weeded it, and mounted. About two weeks later the client called, and part of the logo was lifting at the edges. The element that was lifting was a circle, all the rest stayed down fine. The circle was approximately 40mm(1.5 inches) in diameter.
I am at a loss as to why this happened, and how I can avoid it in future.
I cleaned the surface before mounting.
I didn't laminate it.
It degassed for a couple of hours before I mounted it.
My best guess is shrinkage, I thought is was a polymeric stock though I could be wrong.
Thanks in advance.
