Edge 2 Error Code Help

My Edge II was intermittently showing this message on power up for a couple weeks and is now will not ever boot up properly on any power up attempt.

Rev:XXX BOOT:B1
DOWNLOAD...

Anybody come across this error before and able to resolve it?

We talked to our local Gerber dealer and they are recommending replacing the mother board and we tried calling Gerber support but they were closed due to Thanksgiving. We'd like to hash out all our options before we have to fork out $1300 for a new motherboard.

Talked to Gerber Tech support today. Turns out this isn't an error message at all but actually the display shown when the edge 2 is in "firmware update mode". The foil scroll button is stuck down causing the machine to enter update mode upon powering up. Will be replacing the keypad and display assembly.
