Edge FX Paper getting stuck.

Hello,

I loaded Static Cling, Clear, 15in/38cm-P Vinyl to the Edge FX.

However, when I try to print the vinyl gets stuck on the plastic white flaps.



They seem to clamp down to tight. Do I have to adjust these depending on the material used. If so, how do I adjust it?

The white plastic parts are called wipers. They serve to clean any dust off of the film before it gets printed.

What is happening is the cling property of the static cling film doesn't play well with the wipers. The best solution I've found is to apply a piece of transfer paper approximately 1" x 13" to each of the wipers by folding it over each so it is stuck smoothly to each wiper on both sides. The wipers won't wipe as well but they will still do the job and the cling film will travel smoothly under the wipers.

I was just testing the edgefx and learning about it. I will move on to a different vinyl while I learn and hopefully it doesn't give me problems. If it does, in the future I will use your technique.
