I’m looking at rebuilding the color profiles for Epson sure color printer through the Onyx software. I’m just looking for helpful hints and tips. I know how to do it, but these are killing me and I have a million questions. Have any of y’all done them? Or used Epson with Onyx?
I’ve done color profiles for Homers and DGI (including the DGI grand format), using both Onyx and Caldera. The Epsons don’t use either one of those and the linearization built into the color swatches. I’m also in a very humid environment so our ink density and limit settings are extremely important without sacrificing color.
I work for a production company so these are printers are used for 64”-104” paper.
