Epson 9600 not printing or cutting all the way

Any help is greatly appreciated!
I have several Epson 9600 that I print films on. Lately they are getting were they will not print the entire image (quits about 3/4 the way through), stops cutting there as well. This does not happen all the time, it is at it's worse when I change the roll out with new film. I have cleaned the encoder strip and that did not help.
Any suggestions?

Never mind all, Fixed.
Solution:
In self diagnostic mode I ran the Platen pos to center print head for edge to edge printing
