Epson GS6000 Issue

Hey Guys, and Gals!

I came in this morning and fired up my Epson....tried to send a job and nothing.

I can ping it and run a IP test through Onyx and it finds it every time, just nothing will print when I send.

I do have a red light on the epson on the left side above the cat 5 plug. Usually that is green.

Confused.......

Any help would be great. I have a couple miles of printing to do......

Run a nozzle test on the printer itself first and then try to resend....

The Nozzle check did the trick.

Finally got my Tech guy on the phone and says this is a thing Epson has put into the printer.

If it sits or runs out of ink for any period of time it will lock the printer up, untill you run a nozzle check.


Easy fix, Funny I have been running 2 of these for a little over a year now, and this the first time it has happen.
