Need Help Epson Missing pArt of nozzle check

ccslaw

Guest
Recently our epson dropped a color. We did a nozzle check and found it was missing all of M1 or head 2. We called a tech and he messed with the machine and now we are missing both M1 and C1 on head 2. He is claiming that it is a head malfunction and wants to charge for a new head. I believe that it is another issue.

can anyone provide any guidance as to what can cause this?

what preceded the original drop out? losing a whole bank like that seems unlikely if nothing happened. any sort of headstrike or even a power surge that your aware of?

You can run in single head mode to buy yourself some time on troubleshooting the defective head.

if you call Epson with an Ethernet issue..they want to start your device with a new head.
