Epson S40600 Caps

My S40600 is nearing 5 years old now and I don't use it nearly as much as I used to and. I do a nozzle check every 3-4 days and always seem to have a lot of nozzles missing until I do a cleaning.
I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to replace caps. I had them done several years ago when I had service done on my machine.

Is there any aftermarket place to get Epson caps and other misc. parts so I can do the repairs myself?

I clean the caps and around the printhead when the machine asks me to. Is there something else I should look into cleaning?
I looked at their site, but looks like I have to buy the whole station form them, the caps themselves can't be replaced?

change the whole capping station - these plastics parts also wear out and become soft in solvent fumes. Installing new chineese caps is nonsense.
