Question Epson S80600 Silver Chrome

I am going to try the Silver Metallic Ink Cartridge on our Epson S80600.
My question is, how does the Printer know when to utilize that ink cartrdige?
I use Illustrator and wonder if there is a specific color I need to utilize to get the printer to say,
Oh, hay, It's silver metallic?

Just looking for some help.

I'm here for Educational Purposes
your going to need to set a spot color in your artwork. In illustrator, pick a unique color and make it a spot color fill the areas you want to be silver - with that spot color. After you change the ink over to MS, then the RIP (I have Onyx) should recognize the spot color - and print silver in those places.
