Epson Stylus 9880 - What type of ink for vinyl printing

I'm a newbie and have a Epson Stylus 9880 with UltraChrome K3 aeqeous inks. The local suppliers say there is no printable vinyl for this type of ink. Should I be changing over to a different type of ink: solvent, eco-solvent, dye, or sublimation ink so I can print on vinyl.
