epson stylus pro 7600-sherpa 24m

I have obtained an epson stylus pro 7600-sherpa 24m with no software, printer fires up and everything works from the printers panel,
I have downloaded drivers for the epson stylus pro 7600 and it sort of comunicates with the printer but usually comes up with a command error.
Not easy to find much info about the sherpa 24m version of these printers but from what i suspect you need completely different software to run the sherpa 24m.
Is this correct?
What software do i need and where can I get it from?
I'm stuck
