Hello I was wondering if anyone had any tips for print 3m’s diamond grade reflective on a Solvent printer.

I have the heat settings to 121,121,121
Suction turned to max as well at tension as material like to warp and cause head strikes.

Its not curing properly and had breakage in the ink once it starts to dry

I can’t seem to find and profiles for this material, can’t post pictures as I’m away from shop this weekend.

We use the exact same profile and settings that we use on regular wrap vinyl for printing onto printable reflective.
Printing onto what is not specified as printable we have to slow the print speed time and increase heat to be sure the ink doesn't run or pool.
DiamondGrade is more of a plastic face, so it is not meant for ecosolvent printing. More for UV or screen printing. It might help to increase the time between passes of the head.

the diamond grade reflective we received was not compatible w/solvent inks. we replaced it with 3M type XI diamond grade reflective 4090UDS, which printed great on multiple solvent and latex printers.
