Error 651 Replace NCU

New to me printer. Was reading a bit about auto nozzle recovery. Went to turn that option on and immediately got an error 651. Replace nozzle check unit. Are there any causes that trigger this error other than the NCU? Only fix is to replace? Where exactly is it located and how much are these units? Printer is a CJV 150-160

This error means the light quality of the emitter LED is deteriorating or dirty.

In the NCU there is a light emitter LED and a receiver. The printer checks for missing nozzles by dropping nozzles through the NCU and tracking the amount that cross the light.

The NCU unit is located to the left of the capping station. Try cleaning down in it with a thin swab or key board air cleaning blow can.

The part cost about $145.
