I always hated "leads" as a sales rep. It was always garbage and a waste of time. One place I worked, corporate had the bright idea to hire a bunch of slow learners to sit in a room and call random people. We had to follow up on the most asinine crap that these morons dug up. All it did was take time and focus away from our own sales job.What was the cost per lead? How many leads converted into actual sales? Leads are great but a waste of time if it doesn't convert to money
