Faint printed box

i designed in photoshop exported as eps and when i printed it printed a faint color all around were my banner material is it s like a one percent fill the size of my canvas i did flatten image and it looked white to me but it put like a transparancy print really dont know how to explain it(it should have showed just the white banner....
any ideas, versaworks roland 540

I think it is your setting in your rip for rendering intent. Try printing it as perceptual. It has to do with the white point. The rip is trying to emulate the backgound "white" color.
