Recently our hp FB 500 was running low on yellow ink, as we always do we went to swap the ink and profile chip. when we did the yellow registered full and then a few moments later it it registered as empty. we tried a different box of ink and profiler and same results.
we also tried pulling a profiler chip from our FB550 and it did the same.
we then put the new (full)chip in the 550 and it read full just fine.
we figured the board (one with the actual chip ports) was out so we swapped it out. Still getting the same results. it reads full for about a minute and then errors out and says empty.
Any advice? suggestions
