FB 700 Media load issues

Howdy folks, haven't been around here in awhile, but I'm back to playing with the big printers after a period of making credit cards and doing some CSR work.

I have a FB 700 that started getting aggressive about loading media over night. essentially when I go to load a board against the bar/rail the vacuum starts and roller bar drops without allowing any time to load the media like it normally does. I have been through the front panel's menu and have not located any settings that would appear to affect my issue.

I have a feeling the owners kid was playing around on my equipment again last night :banghead:

Any insight would be appreciated as I am new to this printer. I will be pulling out the books on it as time allows.

You could try turning off the media sensor and giving that a shot. Sounds like it starts loading automatically when it senses the material (possible foot pedal jam?) but that's just my guess.

We had the same issue here. I shut the machine off over night. Fired it back up the next day and all was well and back to normal.

Thanks for the responses. After a day of LX850 and FB issues, I took some time to upgrade the firmware and it resolved the issue along with an encoder error.
