I see a few have been having problems with their Graphtec cutters, but my problem is a bit different.
The cutter has worked fine every since I purchased it new up until a week ago.
I noticed that once in awhile the cutter would make a bit more noise than usual when cutting (only once in a while & only for a second or two).
Also had the Y pos alarm go off for no reason - the head was not bound up & it was not even to the extreme left or right. Just seemed to go off for no reason.
This happened 1 or 2 times - thought it was a fluke & shut off & turned back on.
Today - the Y-Pos alarm went off & now the cutter will not turn back on.
When I hit hit the switch - it makes a "Click" noise &the display slightly blinks.
If I leave the switch in the "ON" position - it will click again in a few seconds like it is attempting to start.
The "Click" sound comes from the PC board closest to the switch at the lft side of the machine.
Anyone else have this problem?
I have a call into Graphtec support & waiting for a call back.
In the meantime - I have unplugged the machine & I am waiting for 30 mins to see if the motherboard resets as I have seen in some of the other topics.
thanks
Mike
