FC7000-160 Syncing but not cutting via CM3

I can get our FC7000 to cut on the same computer via Illustrator CS5 on Cutting Master 2
But CM3 just sits there saying SYNCING.

Am I missing something?
Or is the cutter too old to work on CM3?

I have the same problem

i think they said it's compatible with MK2, but honestly i don't even know how to figure out if i have an MK2. i just assume i don't.

would a firmware update do it?

Ya I am having the same issue with CM3 but I didn't have time to mess with it just used CM2 instead. Maybe tomorrow I will sit down and look at it and see what's going on.

Also even tho CM3 does recognize our FC7000's they're not on the compatibility list for them.
