Need Help Fc8000 Mark Scan Error

I have recently been getting an error E04024 "mark scan error, mark sense level was not enough" when trying to contour cut. Today I followed the sets per my manual to calibrate the sensor level, offset, sensitivity, position and all seemed to go well, but when I went to Test Arms Sensor I received the same message. I was reading some suggestions, reduced lighting, etc. and no luck. Any help would be appreciated. I hate hand cutting viny

BIG EASY DOES IT

Reset your machine first. There are a couple different forums on resetting a graphtec. turn off/on Press up and enter at same time when turning on. THen go through steps of resetting. Then try again as normal to cut.
