Suggestions Fc8000 media hold downs are becoming extremely hard to slide.

So I have a fc8000 and have had it for many years now and the media rollers are extremely hard to slide back and forth. I have taken them all apart and cleaned and lubricanted to the best of my ability and they get a little better but nothing like they should be. Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
