FC9000-160 super aggressive at pulling from the feed roll, anyone know how to slow it down?

We print a lot of trailer wraps so we will have 150' rolls with 100" panels that need to be cut out, but one thing that is a big issue is the machine jerks the feeder roll on the back so hard it can throw off the feed rollers, and cut wrong, we are finding that we must run the next panel forward and make it loose for it to cut correctly, I just can't imagine that as wonderfully engineered as this machine is that not jerking the feeder roll would be overlooked so spectacularly... am I missing something on how to prevent this machine from doing this?

If you're running different panels, set up the 'advance after cut' to be 100". This way it will finish the first panel, then advance to the other end of the second panel. You can then run it back to the beginning of the second panel, cut it, and it will advance to the end of the third. It's not perfect, but it's an option, and should prevent any slipping during cutting operations.

Sometimes the machines don't like the weight of the roll. So we will make sure there's enough slack that the roll is stressing the cutting knife (that's the operator duty).
You can also check that your pich rollers are set correctly.
