Hy

II use to work with ONYX for a long time with HPs EPSON printers and 3 weeks ago we got an opportunity to get a HP 700W with Caledra 15 RIP to geet it work. But unfortunatly i can't get through the first step of connecting properly the printr to the software. When i use the "auto detection" of the rip it can't find the printer, and even saving the Printer IP it do not work. The driver of the printer is installed but i m stunk here without any solutions.
Can anyone give me tips or clue to get this connected?

Thanks

You have to set up the connection correctly also on the printers end. Have the PC and printer is same network etc.
It's not about caldera if you can't ping it.

I think i see what you're saying, I have successfully done that with Versaworks , Onyx , SHIRAZ RIP using EPSON 80600, latex 360 printer by setting the IP, SBmask etc but here it seems not be enough. thks

Ip printer on web browser is not working, where can i disable the DHCP ? but, it actually can find the printer and start the server, caldera find the printer but when i want to go further like making an update on substract between caldera and printer or print , nothing is working. I got the message "unable to query the printer please check if the printer is connected". took screenshots of everything. THKS
