anyone have a source to suppliers with flex led & thin gauge wires? any help would be appreciated.

Do you have an example of the flex led you're looking for?
With LED lighting we normally use SuperBrightLEDs.com or NeonEngineering.com for products.
Grimco also has some nice power supplies, but their selection otherwise is mainly for cabinet signs.

I agree with JBurton, good stuff with warranty is 10x cost (at least) of the amazon/ebay stuff and there are loads of offshore etsy sellers for this type of signage. Something to look into is that GSG supposedly wholesales this kind of sign but I suspect they just pass it along to some overseas shop (or US shop, who knows).

Neon Engineering sells that. I haven't played with it much but seems pretty similar to the LED strips besides a couple things.
