Flexi 6.5 font viewing

My question is when I scroll thru fonts in design central on a line of type, it won't let me see what it looks like in each font as it scrolls thru. I looked on FlexEzine and the consensus there is ("oh well, it should, but it don't)"
Any ideas.

My 6.5 allows font viewing on XP I remember that it didn't on 98 or ME. I just lived with it, since it wasn't used often anyway
