Flexi - Ease of use???

Hi, Very new to cutters and software and am looking at a cutter that comes with Flexistarter 8.5 Just curious to see how easy this software is to learn and use. Need to be ablt to do things like create basic sign with text and graphics as well as creating vehicle graphics, splashes etc...
