Flexi help.. Production manager bug maybe??

This morning when I opened Production manager there was nothing?? No cutter no Printer? All my jobs have been lost?

What may have caused this so I can prevent this in the future? This also happen to me about a year or so ago.

Should I maybe do a dry install of flexi??

I just re-loaded the printer and cutter back in and my files are still there!!!


I still would love some input as to what may have caused this so I can prevent this in the future?

Had that happen once or twice when I was running 7.6. Have not had it happen on 8.6v2. Just a bug I presume but I do remember the same - just manually adding the machines back in and all the jobs automagically come back too. Not really magic - for some reason if PM loses it's configuration like that - the machines folders are all still there. When you re-add the machines it does not create now folders for them if the folders already exist.

I'm going to do a dry install of flexi and keep my fingers crossed.

How many jobs did you have in the queue? I have had customers that have had this happen and it is almost always customers that have large quantities of old jobs sitting in the queue. If you do have a lot of older jobs there try deleting them.

There were approx 3-4 print / cut jobs.. and a number of cut jobs (maybe 10) that have been completed with out me deleting after output.
