Flexi outline options issue....?

I use Flexi 22 and have outline options for rounded corners or square corners. When I choose the square corners, they always
have a diagonal 45 degree cut at each corner of each letter, so not square corners. They look that way and cut that way.
Every font, every reboot. Do I need to un-install and reload the whole works maybe?
Bene using Flexi since 1997 with no issue like this. Thanks.

Toward the bottom of the outline dialogue box there are two drop down options. Join Type on the left and Cap Type on the right. On the join type you need to select the square corners.

I have 2 older versions of Flexi and one of them has that same issue. Figured it was a glitch in that build number.

The problem is more than likely what RiXaX said but occasionally I have files the the corners look perfectly pointed but they are not. So I have to use "Sharpen Corner" tool on the corners that are acting up.

My issue is definitely not the Join Type options as I have tried them all and when the square option is checked, it previews the clipped corner as well?
