Flexi Outline Seperate

When doing an outline or shadow effect in Flexi is it advisable to seperate the outline to send to the cutter or does it not matter?

I noticed there is no problem due to the fact that you can choose which colors to send for each cut but was just wondering if it made a difference or not.

No need to separate it. Like you said, output by color

depends on how many things your cutting, u can select color but doesn't move things close, it leaves it where it was, so you could end up with a huge space of waste.
