I'm running Flexi 8.5 on Windows 7 64 bit beta, no problems at all, I run my Mutoh printer, and Graphtec cutter. You shouldn't have any trouble at all.

Firstly, good move staying away from Vista. I wish Oct. 22 would get here so we can bury that rotting carcus they called Vista.

To remove any doubt simply order it with Win7 Pro which allows running a virtualized XP mode. Problem solved.

That is exactly what we will do with our older version of Flexi.

Hi...
Thinking about a new computer and Windows 7 is coming out in October. Does anyone know if Flexi 8.5 will work with Windows 7? Don't want to use Vista...

Thanks,
Yukon

Thanks for the feedback... I know there will probably be some "get the bugs out" when Win 7 first gets released, but I'm glad to hear that Flexi works. Does anyone know if the 64 bit system conflicts with any other hardware? I use a Roland cutter and VP540 printer.

Thanks,
Yukon

Compared to Vista, I think there will be far less "get the bugs out" issues with Win 7 as for over half a year now Microsoft has had hundreds of thousands of beta testers and unbelievably large amount of input from such a wide range of people that much of the bug fixing has already been done.

I installed and ran Flexi 8.1 on Windows 7 64-bit without any issue. At first I had an issue getting the Graphtec plotter to install as Graphtec is sticking with only 32-bit Win NT drivers. But within Flexi they have 32-bit drivers for the cutter which then ran without any issue.
