FlexiDesigner 8.6V2 losing parts of art.

I have been experiencing issues lately with Flexi dealing with certain customer's artwork. Yesterday a customer sent over a bud light .eps file which contained some gradients which were visible when the file was opened in Adobe Photoshop elements from the customers Email. It was sent to the graphics computer and when it was opened in FlexiDesigner the file lost its gradient and became a solid shade of blue. Any suggestions to avoid this from happening. It mainly seems to be an issue when gradient colors are involved but have noticed it with a few other files before hand.
