FlexiSign8 Question

I have images created in Photoshop that can be Jpeg, tiff, psd, bmp, etc. I want to import any of these into FlexiSign and create a contour cut around them for the purpose of making decals. When I attempt to set the contour cut, it creates a square contour around the overall image as opposed to contouring to the subject within. For example, if I create an oval shaped image to use for a decal, it won't create an oval shaped contour but a sqaure instead. Any suggestions?

Once imported, create an oval and place where you wish. Then select both the image and vector oval and click on Arrange>Mask>Mask. Then apply a contour cut from the effects menu.
