push the charge along to your customer "I don't have the font, so I will need to add $49 to the bill"
or think of it as a tool "I now have another font"

Thanks for your suggestion, but the matter is now settled. I got the font for free online. It was quick, and simple. No adware, no gimmicks attached, fr0om the website. The sign is made.
