Thanks Fred. I did not even pay attention to that because the one on the right was messed up anyway and only looked at the left one. Would you know a similar font style? I don't know what type of font you would call that to begin searching for it. Brush maybe?

use the threshold function in Photoshop to get it to perfect black/white. Then live trace in illustrator. If thats not good enough send it to india to have them re draw for $6. www.huepro.com. These guys do work cheaper and faster than I can we use them all the time

Unless you need new characters, I agree that tracing what you have is probably the best route to take. I recommend the Vector Doctor if you prefer to outsource vector tracing needs. One similar font that comes to mind is Xtreme Script from Signfonts.com if you need something with that ragged look.
