I believe the font is bleeding cowboy but is there another version without all the extra swirls, etc in it?

You might try MISS SCARLETT PLAIN from Font Mesa. Its not exact, but may be as close as you will get.

I just weld the font and delete the nodes to get rid of the swirls.
