Font ID

Does anyone know what font the "S" is in on top of speedway, I use to have it but got rid of it cause I had no use for it till today.

Looks like helvetica italic.

I'm looking for the S there is a font that has the stripes coming off the back of the letter

If you're thinking it's the font named Slipstream ... it isn't.

I have no idea what the font name is,I been looking for the last couple of hours and still have nothing. I don't even know what catagory it would be under.

I think it's an effect on a common font like Helvetica Bold as was previously suggested.
