It's been so badly stepped on that a positive ID is unlikely. It is reminiscent of Gill Sans Bold also known as Humanist 521 from Bitstream.
The typeface is Verdana Bold.
It has been stretched a bit and sheared artificially (along with being outlined and drop-shadowed). The distortion is not as offensive as some acts of font murder I see perpetrated on a sickeningly frequent basis. But still, one has to wonder why they didn't just go with Verdana Bold-Italic and apply the effects withtout distorting the text.
