looks custom. pretty easy to do though, just use helvetica bold or black and add the extended contour lines.

I agree on the ease of doing it but the starting font was Futura Extra Bold.

Somewhere in my imperfect memory, I've got the idea that I have seen this as a font... or maybe it was just something close...

Good call, I just threw one out there that looked similar. Your typeface suggestion is much ... much closer and better.

ew, nasty font. I would just make your own version of that typeface, probably take you the same amount of time to fix that p.o.s. and show that you care a little more about the design and have more intent behind that design.
