Font to satisfy Los Angeles CA Fire Code Signs

Can someone suggest a font to use for LA county fire code signs. We had been using Arial Narrow Bold or Swiss 721 for most of our fire code signs. Some of the art has not passed inspection recently. I would like to find a font that meets guidelines without a lot of adjustment after the fact.

Can someone suggest a simple san-serif font; specifically, I need a font that has at least a 1/4" thick stroke width at 1 inch high. Any input is appreciated.

Myriad Pro Black
Acumin Variable (black)

Din is our go-to for strict code-required signs because it stays legible even when condensed but if you're willing to go just over 1" tall a lot of black or variable weight fonts will give you 1/4" stroke

+1 for Din, that's kind of a go-to for us too.

Thank you for the responses. We don't have DIN Pro. The DIN we do have comes up a bit shy of 1/4" at 1" high. Ill get a hold of DIN Pro at some point and try it out.
