Font won't enlarge past 760mm in corel draw 2023

ALL of a sudden, I can't enlarge any font past 760mm in Corel Draw 2023. The X AXIS will change buy the Y won't go post 760mm in height. please help.

There is a strange limitation in Draw, that wont allow you to drag to scale it to more than 3,000 pt.
Even more strange is that you can type a much larger number in the box in Property Bar or Edit Text dialog (not Properties docker though) and then hit Enter, and it will scale up until it hits the maximum page size (45.720 mm), or something like that.

Have you tried resetting your workspace? (Hold F8 when Corel is loading) or as a workaround convert it to curves, will have a look at this after the weekend and see how big I can't set a font size to.

Why not just covert the text to vector to bypass this and look for fix or log a complaint on the Corel forums where the developers get their tweaking ideas from?

Whatever you do, don't tell the developers about anything that works great in CorelDraw. Soon as you do they'll change it so it doesn't. (ex: Find and Replace)

Holy Sh+t! You are right. I just made a 72" square page in Corel 12. and put in some type and if I try to go above 3000 pts it won't let me, However if I go to <Arrange> <Convert to Curves> and make the type into curves I can go to any size. Weird. I can't believe I never ran into that before. And then I tried in in Corel 9. Same thing, I guess it's always been there!

Similar limits are present in other vector drawing applications. Live text objects can be made only so large in Adobe Illustrator or Affinity Designer. "CAS" apps like Flexi will allow live text objects to be bigger. But I don't like other creative limitations present in those apps; for one thing I think Flexi still doesn't support variable fonts. It's not hard working around the 3000 point limit in CorelDRAW. I'm usually converting any live type in my full size designs to outlines anyway; when other people in the shop need to open the art files they won't get hit with a bunch of missing font warnings nonsense.

I would like to remind you that it is in fact possible to have larger text than 3,000 pt in CorelDRAW, by typing the size in Property Bar or Edit Text dialog.
You however not drag or type it in the Properties docker.
