I'm here to give you your latest fix. I find it ironic that they mention security, when this is a huge security risk waiting to happen. More and more, this is becoming a locked down abstracted "toy" OS. About it's only real advantage is 3rd party vendor support (which has really been it's biggest advantage for as long as I can remember and I remember when MS had a unix-like OS as well).
I'm not exactly surprised by this though, they have spent a lot of money for this tech and they have to recoup it some how. Even with something like this, I would have a significantly less problem if it was all local, but that isn't going to happen, I'm sure that this has 800+ partners that need in on the action like for their office suite.
