I'm looking for a free version of this font. It is a Civil War Era font.

If you have the time, you might email Walden Font and ask if you could just purchase the one font, or tell them what it's for and they may be gracious and provide you the font at a discount. The $40 they are charging looks like it's for the whole set of Civil War fonts they have listed.
