Full black mouse pad print issues

Hey guys

I'm trying to print a design on a white mouse pad 3mm thick fabric.

There is a lot of black as you can see from the images but the black is very patchy and the black isn't very deep in tone, it's a little on the light side.

I'm wondering if this is a heat press issue, not having an even temp across the plate or something else.

Settings are:

60 seconds
Medium pressure
180 (356) heat

Sawgrass sg500 printer with sublijet inks

Is there anyway to get a really even solid black print as it's driving me mad.

What color black did you use? In having things sent out to B2signs and firesprint for sublimation, I always turn in the black with cmyk code: 60,40,40,100. It's a deep rich black. If I do 0,0,0,100 it looks washed out.

May sound silly, but the paper is on the top correct? I use epson paper/inks and never have an issue, but that looks heat related to me.

Wrong side of paper?? Also are u drying the transfer. Not using Teflon sheets. Use copy paper.

I had a sg400 I sold the guy that brought it had a sg500 but says the 400 is better 500 has issues.

Steve, your temp is too low. Try 406 at a minute.
