Mythic Signs Portland - General Manager / Owner
We are seeking an experienced outside sign salesperson to join our team of sign experts. Sign industry knowledge is required. This is not an entry-level sales position; we would like to work with an established salesperson who has existing customer contacts. As a member of our team, you will have the timely support of experienced estimators, designers, permitting staff, and project managers in taking care of your customers.
Pay is expected be an hourly rate plus commission; however, the compensation package is negotiable. We want to provide competitive compensation to a self-motivated salesperson who is capable of bringing customers to the table and closing deals. Because this is an outside sales position, your own reliable automobile is required. We are based out of Portland, Oregon and are licensed to install signage in Oregon and Washington; some day travel may be necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have existing sign customer accounts/contacts
- At least 2 years outside sales experience in the sign industry
- Valid personal (Class C) driver license
- Own reliable automobile for outside sales calls
JOB DUTIES:
- Contact existing or prospective customers via phone, email, or in person to set up sign sales consultations
- Survey sites to determine feasible options for sign installations
- Present signage options for customers based upon their needs and job site information
- Gather signage requirements from customers and communicate those requirements to designers and estimators
- Deliver proposals and artwork created by designers and estimators to customers
- Explain content of proposals and outline sign manufacturing and installation process for customers
- Follow up with customers as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and understanding
- Obtain customer approvals on artwork and proposals and make arrangements for deposit payments
- Communicate with customers during the project
- Assist office staff in collecting final payments from customers upon project completion
