Fuzzy edge on print and thin magenta boarder, head alignment?

I noticed a thin magenta line when printing stickers on my Roland vg3 540 so I did a nozzle test and some of them are shifted to the right.





I tried adjusting the gap but still having the same issue, here are some other test prints



What do i need to adjust to fix this, I am out of warranty, i do have service mode enabled.

As shown in your prints the black is out of alignment. If you can get your hands on a service manual for it, you might be able to make the changes yourself if it isn't due to dame to the head itself. Might want to take a look at the bottom of the head and see if you can see any visible damage, just to rule that out.

Looks like you had a severe crash. Your heads and/or the carriage need adjustment.

Need to go into Service Mode and do a printhead alignment, bidirectional adjustment

You need to perform the bias alignment in the carriage or reseat the heads.

Hi! Thank you all for the feed back! Does anyone have a guide on how to do the head adjustment? I called my local dealer and support company this morning and they did not call me back, I am sure they are busy.

I would love to get this fixed on my own so I can do some printing this weekend.

You need a mechanical head alignment. Being a VG3, most likely still under warranty hopefully and can get a Roland tech out under warranty. Try printing in unidirectional to get by.

Unfortunately, it is 2 years old, I missed the extended warranty by a couple of months.

I don't have that manual but see if you can get your hands on one. You need to do the bias adjustment which is basically the physical tilt of the head. See the picture below. I've circled the bias alignment. Those two sets of lines should be parallel.
