Fuzzy prints on Ryno Board

Does anybody else have some difficulty with Ryno Board and UV inks? I can run regular foam core, sintra, corp, etc. and the prints look good, but when I run Ryno there is a fuzziness about the prints. Tried playing with the lamp settings to no avail. Using a Vutek QS2 Pro. Any tips or experience printing on to this board (Ryno from Gilman Bros.) would be appreciated. Thanks.

Stuff that has made our print fuzzy is static electricity or head height being wrong.. not sure about just on ryno tho.

Yep I would put my money on static if your head height is correct.

you can try washing the board down with a 1:20ish mixture of natural fabric softener & water (this is a great antistatic spray) spray it lightly and then wipe dry, you will feel the board lose its static and the cloth will slip over the surface, then go over it with IPA to remove any residues. I have never had adhesion issues arise from doing this.

I do this with my very very stubborn static holding boards and it works a treat.

Don't knock it until you try it!
