Gerber Composer for viewing station only

We have both Gerber Composer 4.0 & 5.0 installed in our production room but we would like to start showing our customers their designs on a computer in our showroom. We would only need a "View Only" version of the software but our sales person says it will cost us $500 bucks (ouch!).

I found an older version (2.5) but it won't install on Windows 7. What do others do? Or is their anywhere else I can purchase the software for cheaper?? Thanks in advance.

You might try "Remote Desktop" to view the production computer from the showroom computer.

Not exactly the most proper way, but running in Demo-Mode (without the security USB key) is basically a view only setup. You can print, but not save changes, export, or output any vinyl.
